CoREM Member Resources
CoREM Member Resource Database:
Guiding Renewable Energy Developments
Welcome to the CoREM Member Resource Database, designed to support Australian Councils in their critical role in the clean energy transition.
This database has been established by CoREM to foster transparency, share best practices, and significantly strengthen the negotiating position of local governments.
Within this resource, you will find a curated collection of materials, including Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs), Council Resolutions, Planning Documentation, and Case Studies detailing partnerships with Developers.
By providing access to these resourcces, CoREM aims to equip every member council with the necessary context and precedents to secure the maximum community benefit, environmental protections, and long-term legacy contributions from major renewable energy projects within their jurisdictions.
This database is intended to be a dynamic, living resource. You can search by project type (e.g., Solar Farm, Wind Farm, Battery Storage), Council name, or key negotiated terms. We strongly encourage all member Councils to actively contribute their relevant, documents and executed agreements following their own negotiations.
Submitting your documentation ensures the database remains current, comprehensive, and continually beneficial to your peers, strengthening the collective knowledge base of CoREM.
